About Mountain Home Inspections of Luray, Virginia

Susan Custer started out in the construction industry more than 38 years ago. Over the years, she honed her carpentry skills, sharpened her design skills and eventually transitioned into the role of building superintendent. She also put her Virginia contractor’s license to good use by starting her own remodeling firm.

During this time, she gained experience with plumbing, electrical and HVAC in residential structures of all kinds. For a change of pace, she began inspecting homes. Drawing on her knowledge of home construction, Susan continues to provide insightful home inspection services throughout the Luray, VA area and surrounding counties.

Susan also plays the banjo in a music group and offers banjo, fiddle and guitar lessons as well.
